This suite of 8 spreadsheets undertake the structural design and analysis of a heavily loaded industrial concrete pavement using the method outlined in the Interpave Heavy Duty Pavements design guide.
The Interpave method originates in the UK and is an accepted method of design for heavily loaded concrete pavements such as container ports and heavy industrial storage areas.
The spreadsheet calculates the required concrete slab thickness to accommodate the user input loading conditions and concrete strength.
The spreadsheet includes unique features to analyse the effects of altered loading requirements, allowing the designer to quickly specify a concrete pavement design to suit any required loading conditions.
A further set of spreadsheets are included to allow the designer to calculate the Single Equivalent Wheel Load (SEWL) for various pieces of equipment and for shipping container stacking arrangements. This includes spreadsheets for all commonly used wheeled equipment used in industrial sites.

- 7 Single Wheel Equivalent Load calculation spreadsheets for front lift trucks, reach stackers, straddle carriers, rubber tyred gantry cranes, side lift trucks and tractor/trailer set ups, and for container stacking arrangements.
