Angle Sections
Angle sections are very commonly used in all types of construction, particularly in steel framed buildings. Angle sections are commonly used as bracing and connecting members between main I shaped beams in steel frame constructions.
The angle section is perfect for use as a connection member due to its good resistance to compression and tension and because its L shape which makes it easy to connect to other open members. The same reasons make L shaped angle sections ideal for use as diaphragm members in large trusses.
